Register for 2025 Tour of the California Alps - Death Ride
Join us July 12 for one of the most challenging endurance cycling events on the west coast: The 2025 Tour of the California Alps - Death Ride! Starting in Markleeville, Calif. you'll ride over 103 miles with six HC climbs at High Sierra elevation... while enjoying the magnificent scenery and warm hospitality of Alpine County!
Participants have the option of riding up to six HC climbs among the high sierras, a total of 103 miles, and over 14,000 feet of lung-busting climbing all in one day! Climbs include both sides of Monitor Pass (Hwy 89), both sides of Ebbetts Pass (Hwy 4) and both sides of the Pacific Grade (Hwy 4). Packet pickup and the start and finish line festivals all take place at Turtle Rock Park, just north of Markleeville. Route and event details can be found at www.deathride.com.
The route is subject to change or cancellation should public health and safety officials, the State of California, inclement weather, or other public entity require such change. BY PROCEEDING WITH REGISTRATION YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE FINAL ROUTE MAY CHANGE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
Training: We plan to partner with our friends at Alta Alpina Cycling Club to offer training opportunities to help you prepare for the big event again! You will receive a notice once the 2025 training plan is available to purchase.
